R-5 Window Program.
Associated Materials is proud to be a part of
the U.S. Department of Energy's new R-5 Volume
Purchase Program. Our model 0501 windows qualify
for the DOE's Building
Technologies Program for Highly Insulating R-5
Windows.

The R-5
Volume Purchase Program is an effort by the
DOE to promote highly insulating windows with
a whole-window R-value of 5 (or U-factor of
around 0.2). These windows are among the top tier
of energy-efficient windows available today.
Homeowners can realize substantial energy
savings by choosing R-5 windows over other
alternatives.
