Eco-Friendly Solutions

Now more than ever, homeowners are exploring the many ways they can build green by choosing products that leave a smaller environmental footprint on the earth.

Insulated siding and windows are eco-friendly in many ways. Precision-engineered to achieve superior energy efficiency, these products reduce the consumption of fossil fuels for heating and cooling. And because they never need to be painted, they also lessen the amount of paint, stain and other maintenance-related products entering the waste stream or polluting the earth with potentially harmful organic gasses. As a recyclable material, all in-plant scrap vinyl is recycled for maximum use and minimal waste. Vinyl siding and windows also boast a long service life, and typically weigh less than some siding products or substrate windows and therefore require less fuel for transport. Each of the attributes seem small individually, but together they can make a positive impact on our environment.

With a strong commitment to environmental stewardship, AMI provides sustainable solutions for your building product needs. From raw material selection, throughout the manufacturing process, on the home and even after it has fulfilled its useful life, AMI building products are an environmentally friendly choice. And, AMI building products support the high standards and criteria set by leading green building certification programs.
